For the Love of Penguins | Blue Apple Studios

As many of you may already know my oldest daughter Kinley loves art. Since she was very young she has expressed a deep love and passion to be an artist when she grows up. Her dream now is two part, she still very much wants to be an artist but she also wants to work at the Monterey Bay Aquarium and take care of the Penguins. This week I enrolled Kinley and Hadley in an art workshop at Blue Apple Studios in Santa Cruz. Blue Apple Studios came very highly recommended to me by several friends and I must say that it exceeded all of my expectations.  My girls were so thrilled and excited about their experience that they would honestly be happy to go everyday. If you have a child that loves art and you live in the Santa Cruz area I highly recommend Blue Apple Studios. The owner Cayce Ellison is wonderful with the children and provides such a great program.

Sweet Baby Caitlyn | Santa Cruz Baby Photographer

Happy Birthday to my Dad

Today I am wishing my Dad a very happy birthday. I really just want to take a few minutes to brag about him. My Dad is such an amazing man. He has one of the kindest most loving hearts I have ever come to know. My dad would give the shirt off of his back to anyone in need, he is extremely generous.  My Dad is liked by all who know him. He is super funny and he makes people laugh all of the time, he is a real goof-ball!!

My Dad is the BEST grandpa, a.k.a BOMPA EVER!!!! His grandchildren love and adore him. He is so fun and playful.

I have been tossing around the idea for a while now about creating a new blog that would be dedicated solely to my photography. I was not sure if I really wanted to have two blogs but after much thought on the issue I decided that it would be best to have a place for all things photography and another place for my family blog. I will still be posting about some of my photography here on Mommy Babble but my new blog www.AimeePoolPhoto.com will be where I will post all of my most recent photo sessions and photography related information.

Happy Anniversary to Us!

8 years ago today I married my best friend. I feel so blessed to be married to Reggie and I am so thankful for the life that we have together. We celebrate today but we look forward to our ten year. Whoo-hoo only TWO more years to go until we will renew our wedding vows at one of our favorite resorts in Pismo Beach, The Dolphin Bay Resort and Spa. I am really looking forward to this and our sweet girls are as well. We will be joined by them along with a few close friends and family.

a few things  I ♥ about my hubby:

1. I have never doubted for one second his love for me!

2. He is an AMAZING daddy!!!!! I really got lucky here.

3. He is 110% committed to me and his children.

4. He is loyal, loving, affectionate,  kind, unselfish and trustworthy. These things mean so much to me!

5. He loves the Lord

6. He is extremely supportive! He supports my every whim and he encourages me when I need it.

7. He is fun and silly. He makes me laugh and we just have a great time together.

Thank You Reggie for the past 9 years of marriage, for our beautiful little girls and for the happy life that we share together!
