Christmas 2010 has come and gone. Another Christmas in the past. It saddens me every year when Christmas is over but it has nothing to do with the festivities of Christmas. What makes me sad is that my girls will never be this age again. We only get to do Christmas once at each age. I know that this sounds crazy as it is a reality of life for all of us but I will wish that I could just freeze them at these sweet little ages. The older I get the faster time goes by. I honestly have a hard time believing that my girls are now five and seven.
The good. Christmas was great. We truly enjoyed the entire season and spent a lot of time taking it in. We spent time with friends and family doing many annual Christmas traditions. We painted pottery, ate lots of yummy food, drove around looking at Christmas lights, went to the Christmas Eve candle light service at church, saw the Nutcracker ( a new tradition) and baked Jesus a birthday cake.
