Happy 5th birthday Princess Kinley

I am writing my birthday post to my first baby girl who is turning 5 today. The time has gone so fast that I can feel my head spinning. I really cannot believe that it was five years ago that I gave birth to my sweet little baby girl and now she is tuning five and growing up way too fast for her mommy.

Kinley, you are an amazing little person with such a big and loving heat. Your sweet little demeanor just melts your mommy’s heart. Daddy and I are so proud of you for so many reasons. We love you more than we could ever express and I hope that you never forget that. Happy Birthday to my first little princess, you are my sunshine!!!

I Love you Forever to my Heart!!

Today I took my two little princesses to a princess tea party at a friends house. The girls were so darling and they all had so much fun. They played dress up, served tea, ate lunch and frosted yummy cupcakes that they topped with sprinkles galore!

Check out these adorable felt Cupcakes and Cookies that we took for each little princess & Prince to take home. These scrumptious looking felt cookies & cupcakes are embellished with flowers, icing & sprinkles!! They even smell like vanilla.

Where does the time go?

A week from today my first baby girl, Miss Kinley, is going to be the BIG 5. I cannot believe that I am going to have a five year old. Time goes by so fast. Kinley is turning into such a beautiful little girl with an amazing loving heart. She is sweet and kind, sensitive, loving, caring, extremely smart, funny and an all around wonderful little person. Kinley’s sweet and loving nature just melts my heart.

We have been planning Kinley’s birthday party and she is so excited! This year she choose to have an “Ariel Under the Sea Swim Party”. Kinley picked our her cake and most of her party favors and decorations. We have been counting down the days for over a month now and she can hardly stand the wait!

A few quotes from Kinley this past year…..

  • “That’s what”
  • “How did I know that?”
  • “I Love you forever to my heart”
  • “Last night I dreamed about friendship and love”
  • “Would you just stop talking!”
  • “Because I lost the red pen”
  • “I asked you, but you did not hear me”
  • “Barney sings the most beautiful songs”
  • “My mommy is smarter than your mommy”
  • “I don’t want to smell that”
  • “You are my best Mommy forever”
  • “I don’t want to sell Daddy, you are kidding right?”
  • “God did not put my heart in my tummy because that us where my food goes, He put it in my chest so that it will stay clean”

Starting my Day with God

Running on the beach every morning has brought me the perfect opportunity to start my day with God. I always find that when I start my day with God that I have better days. Coming to God in prayer first thing in the morning brings a lot of peace through out my day. As the sun comes up and the waves are hitting the shore I see the beauty that he has created and I am so thankful.  As I pray to God in the early morning hours I am able to ask him for whatever strength or guidance that I need for the day. If something is weighing heavy on my heart I ask him to bring me clarity. Just this week I went to him in prayer about an emotional tug a war that I was having in my head. I asked him to please bring peace to my heart over this matter so that I could let it go. That very day a good friend of mine showed up at my house out of the blue and said everything that I needed to hear to have this inner peace. God is good, God listens and God answers prayers! I have learned that he may not always answer my prayers the way that I want him to or when  want him to but I know that God does not make mistakes!

Verse of the Day: I picked two  =)
Whatever is true, . . . whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, . . . dwell on these things.
